Jackpot! An e-mail from Taylor, too! Here’s an excerpt:
today we got to spend the morning in a christian orphanage…there were houses and each house had a set of "parents"…a lot like the orphanage in mexico. we did VBS for them and we played soccer and jump rope and side walk chalk. the little ones especially love bubbles. they go bezerk over bubbles. its amazing to watch. there was one little girl that attached to me. she was like a little monkey climbing all over me. haha. her name was alexandria. she sat on my lap and i put my arms around her little body and then she pulled my arms tighter. i wanted to cry it was so sweet. they just want to be loved, ya know? and i started stroking her arm and then when i stopped, she grabbed my hand and started moving it up and down her arm again haha. so..i might be bringing home a romanian child. be prepared. 🙂 it gives me such a passion to adopt kids though. sometimes i picture myself starting an orphanage or being a house parent at one.
She asked that we pray for her friend who isn’t feeling well and really wants to go home.
Perhaps we should also pray for the technology in Romania and Thailand. The computers there apparently don’t let you use capital letters (I know, that was a totally Dad thing to say, but I couldn’t resist) 😉
