The family paid a visit to the Denver Art Museum over Thanksgiving weekend. This installation piece entitled “Fox Games” by artist Sandy Skoglund was a fun find. The almost entirely red scene of foxes running wild and pouncing off tables in a restaurant includes a walking path through the middle of it so viewers can wander through and find themselves in the middle of the scene. Knowing that red is Wendy’s favorite color and thinking it would be kind of a silly picture to have Wendy and Taylor in the middle of this surreal scene, I told them to pose for this photo.

This is not a particularly awesome photograph in anyway, but it made me laugh. And, isn’t that the point? We should all love to take pictures that humor us (even if it fails to humor anybody else).

Foxy ladies, indeed.
