"Contentment" is such a foreign concept anymore. Our world, our culture, and our economy are driven by discontent. Get it bigger, better, faster! It’s new & improved! You’ve got to be thinner, darker, and more toned. Get the best, the coolest, what’s "in" right now. You’ve got to have the latest and greatest – and for goodness sake get it NOW – don’t wait!!

Is it any wonder, with media and our culture feeding these subtle (and not so subtle) messages at us 24/7/365, that we are deaf to the still, small voice of Holy Spirit whispering in our hearts: "be content"?
