It’s been crazy for the Vander Wells over the past few weeks. Too busy, in fact. We’re looking forward to a little slow down (just in time for the Christmas rush!). Here’s the latest to catch you up:
- Wendy is directing the Christmas Post and we’re 3 weeks from opening night (yikes!). She’s doing a fabulous job and the show is going to be great. Click here for show and ticket information. If you’d like Wendy and I to pick you up some tickets in advance for a certain show, e-mail us and let us know which date.
- Taylor has been burning the candle at both ends. She did an awesome job in the high school’s production of "Pride and Prejudice", has been working two jobs and this weekend she’ll be working (and speaking!) at the local Teens Encounter Christ retreat. She’s also looking forward to her mission trip to Costa Rica over the holidays. Instructions for donating to her mission trip on-line are here.
- Madison did a great job sharing about her mission trip to Thailand last Sunday. She was excited to be made part of the youth worship team at church. Her first Sunday night singing on the worship team was last Sunday and Taylor said she was "awesome". Madison has also been very active with her small group and is having a great time in the high school show choir.
- It’s been a very active season at work for me. This past year I wrote a play for Union Street Players Tulip Time playwriting contest. My play was one of three finalists and the winner will be announced December 15. I was also featured in the book What No One Ever Tells You About Blogging and Podcasting by Ted Demopoulos. Of course, I’ve also been busy helping Wendy with The Christmas Post, and I’m cast in one of the roles.
