Taylor got her passport in the mail the other day. For some reason, whenever I see my passport I think about the fact that I’m really a citizen of the Kingdom. As today’s verse reminds, this world is not my home. I am an ambassador, a wayfarer, a sojourner – and there is a purpose for my presence – but I’m just passin’ through. There is something in that eternal perspective that helps keep my everday, earthly existence in the proper focus. It helps me manage priorities and make good choices.
