Thousands upon thousands of people will be enjoying Pella’s Tulip Time this weekend, and all the Dutch treats that go along with the celebration. Here are my personal top five Tulip Time treats (Wendy and I plan to be back in Pella by Saturday evening to enjoy at least a few of them!):
- Poffertjes (from stand across from Vermeer Windmill on E1st)
- Stroopwaffels (from stand across from Vermeer Windmill on E1st)
- Homemade Dutch Letters (from Central Girls stand SW corner of Main and Liberty)
- Corn Dog (from Zuster’s stand on Broadway by Post Office)
- Tenderloin (from Zuster’s stand on Broadway by Post Office)
