Production Week!

Uspdominieswife2006It’s production week for The Dominie’s Wife, and Tulip Time is almost upon us here in Pella. We had a rehearsal break since Thursday night and then ran a full dress last night. The show is ready. In fact, we could have used an audience, but we’re having about 30 invited guests to the show tonight just to get a feeling for that energy.

The production has been amazingly stress free. Ann Wilkinson, our wonderful director, reminded us last night that we’d only had 16 rehearsals (it seems like a lot more). We’ve been blessed with a small, experienced cast and crew. It also helped that Ann, Wendy and Pat Moriarity had already done the show once before.

Full dress rehearsals are tonight and tomorrow. Wednesday night is opening night with curtain at 7:00. The Tulip Time shows are Thu, Fri and Sat at 4:30 in the afternoon. Shows are at the Pella Community Center, two blocks south of the square on Union Street.
