If you could have any single writer either current, or from history, write your biography, who would it be?

My first response to this question was a no brainer. I’d have Shakespeare stage the story. Of course, I know he’d take dramatic license with characters and events, but I also know it would be thoroughly entertaining and deeply poignant at the same time.

But, the question really says biography. So, I guess I should pick a writer of prose. Since few, if any, would really want to read the rather bland story of my life, I’ve decided to lay the burdensome challenge on my favorite author of adventureous thrill fiction. My pick would be author (and former University of Iowa prof) David Morrell. The guy writes tight and knows how to keep a story moving while keeping the reader both engaged and enthralled.
