30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 22: Ten things about you people don’t really expect.
Wendy and I talked about this one yesterday afternoon as we journeyed home from the lake. The question presumes that I know what people expect, which I don’t. So, Wendy suggested that I think of it as 10 things people may not know about me. Great idea, my love (she’s pretty and smart).
- I’m not a half-bad cook.
- As a kid I played on an Ultimate Frisbee team called “The Grateful Discs.”
- I spent five years in pastoral ministry, two as a youth pastor and three as a senior pastor.
- I love playing video games (I was going to say I’m a “Gamer,” but Wendy told me I have to spend a lot more time at it and actually be good at playing them to give myself the moniker).
- You can find me in IMDB.
- I’ve written two plays and one novel.
- I taught myself to play the guitar and bass.
- I’ve been to the Philippines.
- I have genetic hearing loss with over 70% of the hearing gone in my left ear, coupled with constant Tinnitus (ringing of the ears).
- I was a competitive swimmer and water polo player in my youth.
