30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 22: Ten things about you people don’t really expect.

Wendy and I talked about this one yesterday afternoon as we journeyed home from the lake. The question presumes that I know what people expect, which I don’t. So, Wendy suggested that I think of it as 10 things people may not know about me. Great idea, my love (she’s pretty and smart).

  1. I’m not a half-bad cook.
  2. As a kid I played on an Ultimate Frisbee team called “The Grateful Discs.”
  3. I spent five years in pastoral ministry, two as a youth pastor and three as a senior pastor.
  4. I love playing video games (I was going to say I’m a “Gamer,” but Wendy told me I have to spend a lot more time at it and actually be good at playing them to give myself the moniker).
  5. You can find me in IMDB.
  6. I’ve written two plays and one novel.
  7. I taught myself to play the guitar and bass.
  8. I’ve been to the Philippines.
  9. I have genetic hearing loss with over 70% of the hearing gone in my left ear, coupled with constant Tinnitus (ringing of the ears).
  10. I was a competitive swimmer and water polo player in my youth.
