While there are movies that I think are better movies for this reason or that, Casablanca remains my favorite movie of all time. There are so many iconic moments and memorable lines, but this lesser known moment from the film never fails to stir my heart.
It’s so hard to settle on just one, isn’t it?
And of course, who can forget Jimmy Stewart’s It’s a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and You Can’t Take it With You? Then you’ve got The Lion King and… well I should stop here before this turns into a top 20…
Truly a remarkable film. I cannot say with certainty that it is my favorite. I am also much attached to Gone With the Wind, The Sound of Music, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Anna and the King. But it is undoubtedly in my top 5.
