It seems forever since I’ve written a post updating what’s been going on in our lives. Every day I think about sitting down and catching everyone up, but then the priority list hits, the day zooms by, and I don’t get it done.
Wendy and I have been busy the past few months. Annie rehearsals take up three nights a week (You are coming to the show, aren’t you?! Tickets are going fast! May your plans!) on top of our other activities helping with worship and video at church. Plus, it’s a busy season for work in which we are scrambling to finish up 2010 projects even as 2011 projects require preparation and set up. It feels like I’ve been in non-stop meetings for weeks while the things I need to accomplish get stacked up on the back burner.
Wendy and I escaped down to the lake this past weekend. A brief window of opportunity opened up. It was chilly and cloudy, but the Playhouse was blissfully warm, quiet and peaceful. We slept, we read, we watched movies, and we carried on conversation that lasted more than 30 seconds.
It’s Monday and a host of meetings were miraculously cancelled today, so I get to play catch up on the to-dos around the home office.
One of which was writing this post. Check. 🙂
