Wendy and I headed to the lake for our last week at the Playhouse for the year. We may still sneak down for a weekend or two, but this is summer’s last hurrah. We were unaware that last week was “biker week” at the lake. So, we got to enjoy the roar of Harley’s and an on-going party all weekend courtesy of our neighbors. We were excited when Sunday arrived and everyone headed home. Since then, the lake has been blissfully quiet and peaceful! We heard that this past weekend was cold and rainy back home. It’s been sunny and in the high 80’s since we arrived. Nice!

We’re looking forward to having Wendy’s family with us this weekend. Her folks and sister are coming down from Iowa. Heidi and Sophia are planning to drive up from OK. It will be a nice weekend together.
