Wendy and I celebrated our anniversary and started the new year with our friends. Chad and Shay finished their basement this year, so we gathered there in front of the toasty warm fireplace to watch Iowa State beat Minnesota, munch on appetizers and play games. It was so much fun that little Aaron wouldn't stand for being put to bed. He was still wide awake and giggling when we left at 12:30/ We lasted 'til just past midnight and headed home in the frigid weather!
