As long as I've known my nephew, Solomon (which is entire life), he's loved the game of basketball. I like watching people do things they love to do. So, it was a blast last night when the DMCS Lions traveled down to Pella to play PC. It gave the family an opportunity to get together, which is always a good thing.
After making requisite stops at Jaarsma's Bakery and George's Pizza, the family came over for dinner at our house. Then it was off to the PC gym to watch Sol play. It was even more fun when we were surprised by our friends Kevin, Harrison and Matt who made the trip down from Des Moines, as well.
Who won? Well…that's not really important, is it? It was a great time together and it was a blast to watch Sol play. Go Blue!
