I’m writing this morning from my hotel room in Cheyenne Wyoming. I flew out to Billings to meet with a new client on Wednesday and then drove to Cheyenne last night for meeting in their Cheyenne call center today. Note to all those who think that there’s nothing in Iowa: You must not have made the drive between Billings and Cheyenne!

Oh my goodness, I thought for a while I was driving on the moon. I pulled off at a tiny rest area in the middle of nowhere and expected to see Rod Serling standing there holding a cigarette in his hand saying…

Imagine if you will a man driving from Billings to Cheyenne – from Point A to Point B. But this particular man on this particular night will never reach his destination. As Sisyphus doomed to roll the rock up the hill only to have it fall down once more, this man will find that Cheyenne is eternally "just over the next rise" – for this doomed man is on a never ending highway…in the Twilight Zone.
