It was another wonderful night for Pella Shakespeare and Much Ado About Nothing. The weather was perfect with pleasant temperatures and a cool breeze to blow the bugs away. We had pre-show entertainment with a lesson on medeival swordplay (no one was hurt!). The audience was the most responsive we’ve had, with plenty of laughter and enjoyment that really motivated the actors to take it to another level.

Grandpa and Grandma VW came to bring the girls for a pre-show picnic and to enjoy the performance. It was fun to watch the family enjoying the performance.

Tonight the show is at the Tulip Tower on the Pella town square at 6 p.m. NOTE: Sunday’s performance at Prairie Creek Playhouse has been cancelled!
