Chapter-a-Day Hebrews 1

AngelIsn’t it obvious that all angels are sent to help out with those lined up to receive salvation? Hebrews 1:14 (TM)

Obviously, the writer of Hebrews started his letter arguing against one of the teachings of the day, that Jesus was an angel. He puts that notion to rest, but ends with this verse. He’s saying that angels are helpers in the spiritual realm (as opposed to Jesus who was the author of our salvation). But, it’s also saying that angels are spiritual helpers, and that gives me some comfort to know that there are spiritual messengers and helpers assigned to help me!
