Chapter-a-Day Psalm 24

Behold This, Jacob, is what happens to God-seekers, God-questers. Psalm 24:6 (TM)

Did you ever think about how many great stories (popular, classic, literature, film) are about "seeking" or a "quest"?

  • King Arthur and the Holy Grail
  • Raiders of the Lost Ark
  • The Lord of the Rings
  • The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
  • The Odyssey

As children of the Creator, I believe that our own creativity and the stories we tell mirror "The Great Story" of eternity which God has written and is revealing in time. "The Great Story" of a sinful people seeking restoration and a Holy God seeking to restore them.

What are you seeking? What is your quest? "For wherever your treasure is, there will your heart be, also."

  1. 1-2 God claims Earth and everything in it, God claims World and all who live on it.
He built it on Ocean foundations,
laid it out on River girders.
Our mighty creator deserves praise for everything we have been given. Let us not forget that today.
